Two front teeth!

Yep, Muffin is officially missing her two front teeth, and she doesn't want the Easter bunny to bring them. And she's also missing a bottom tooth... Poor tooth fairy is going to go broke!

Wizards

Since Muffin is more than 6.5 yrs old and absolutely loves wizards and magic I thought she might be ready to watch the first Harry Potter movie. Was she ever! She was enthralled, it was wonderful to see how much she was enjoying watching how Harry discovered he was a wizard.

And she now wants to be Hermione for Halloween - ya think she liked the movie? LOL!

Muffin wanted a dreamcatcher but not just any - she decided to make her own! Isn't it pretty?

Tooth number 4!

Muffin lost her first top tooth! In the middle of dinner she stopped eating, reached for the tooth and just pulled it out. Brave girl! And of course now we have a toothy smile, and two new shining dollar coins from the tooth fairy. Loving her new smile!

Muffin is six years old!!

When she woke up yesterday the first thing she asked us was “Am I taller now that I’m six?” She was soooo excited to have her birthday!

I made a special breakfast (French toast), and we went to the beach for some fun in the sand. She kept wanting to go deeper into the water, I had to keep reminding her that the beach is NOT a pool and that she had to watch the waves. We made a small sand castle which was decorated with shells, and we covered her tail with san in the shape of a mermaid’s tale (which was dismantled by her before Daddy could take a picture).

Her choice for dessert that night was ice cream, so off we went to Coldstone Creamery with our free ice cream coupon for her. And per her request, we put a single candle on top of her ice cream and softly sang happy birthday to her. All in all a fab day!

Graduation!!

Muffin graduated from Kindergarten!! It was a beautiful event, very well orchestrated by her teacher & the staff. All children won an 'award', and Muffin won the "Most Polite" award (which she certainly is!).

Can't believe that first grade is just a hop & a skip away, wasn't she a baby just a little bit ago? Sniff!!
